1. Purpose

A shared library to help grabbing images from a program.

I created this program to record video from a NES emulator.

2. To use

Compile.
Edit xgetimage.cfg to suit your preferences.
Set an environment variable as LD_PRELOAD="xpatch.so" and run your program.

3. Copying

xgetimage-xpatch has been written by Joel Yliluoma, a.k.a. Bisqwit,
and is distributed under the terms of the General Public License (GPL).

4. Requirements

GNU make is probably required.

Requires mencoder (part of MPlayer).

5. Downloading

The official home page of xgetimage-xpatch is at http://iki.fi/bisqwit/source/xgetimage-xpatch.html.
Check there for new versions.
